They are the Saint-Gobain Foundation

This is Marie-Charlotte. She works in Brazil for PAM,
a Saint-Gobain subsidiary. She is head of management control. What she likes is calling her parents
to talk about the weather, looking out over the Bay of Rio.What’s the weather like
in Strasbourg right now? Then going for a walk
through the market and tasting fruits
no one has ever seen in Strasbourg. Marie-Charlotte also likes
to let off steam. But only on the bags. And after, dress her wounds
with a brand-new bandage. But what she doesn’t like is hearing her colleagues
talk about Brazil’s wounds and thinking that
nothing can be done. What we like about her
is that she sponsors a project for the “Seeds of Joy” association which has rehabilitated
a day nursery in a Rio favela. What we also like is that she
doesn’t just tell beautiful stories, she does everything she can
to live them and to make them live. Quite simply. Christophe lives near Paris,
in Antony. He is a POINT.P branch manager. He likes Monday mornings
because there are lots of customers and by observing them,
you can guess their job. He’s a plumber. But he also likes being wrong and thinks that people
are always surprising. He also likes to go with them
to visit their sites where he can see
other people’s dreams taking shape. What he likes less is when his son
turns his room into a mess knowing that children can be
without a room altogether! What we like about Christophe
is that he sponsors a project for the association
Habitat & Humanisme, which has rehabilitated
housing in Fresnes.Good to see you! What we also like about him, is that
he knows how to build protecting walls and to bring down those
that separate us from others. What we like about Christophe,
is that for him, living in harmony is a reality. Quite simply. Naomi lives in Glasgow,
in Scotland, where what you need
is a good umbrella.Welcome to Scotland!Twenty-four-year-old Naomi
has already had a busy life, with ups and downs
and quite a few storms. But now she feels safe, because every day she goes
to the Wolfson Center, an institution supported by
the Saint-Gobain Foundation, where young people like her
can learn a job and set off on the right foot. You have excellent body language! She likes the lessons there, mainly because
they’re not much like lessons. Naomi likes the friends
she met there and walking for hours with them
through Glasgow telling each other their life stories. But she also likes confiding in Stuart, sponsor of the project
for Saint-Gobain.Prince’s Trust
has completely transformedmy mental health
and the way that I feel. The only thing she doesn’t like
is when the site helmets are too big. What we like about Naomi is her
temperament and her fighting spirit. We think she has every chance
of finding her place in society, here in Glasgow, or elsewhere, and soon she’ll be able
to offer the world her smile. Quite simply. It’s important to have
passions in life. It makes you want
to do even more, together. And it makes you want
to say thank you. Thanks to everyone
and thanks to you. Because she is, they are, you are the Saint-Gobain Foundation.
