Right now we’re in 107-G so
this is where we hold class. Let’s try to get Zaria’s short done
as soon as she get’s here. Three people for camera
who want’s to volunteer? We all get to work together in different
facets and different positions around the studio, and we all
learn together as a team. Thank you. I was actually
looking for the headsets too. Today we are in my COM 482 class
which is a topics class. This class is called Twenty Two Minutes.
It’s a television production class based on the half hour television episode format
where twenty two minutes is programming and eight minutes is commercial content. Let’s find out where that is… It’s all our ideas. We get to come up with
our own camera shots and we learn a lot about camera equipment, production, the
control room, all of that stuff so that’s really cool. She’s doing three cameras. I don’t know
if she’s – Student: Is she recording multi cam?
Liz: That’s what I’m not sure about. I try to encourage them to take the
lead during class. I’m there basically in an executive producer
role. One Mic? One mic set up like we did before
with all those confessionals. But really I want them to run the show.
They write their scripts, and then they produce them here in the studio or
out in the field. Like medium wide so that you get
both of them… Student: Wait hold on why is it doing that?
Liz: Oh, because it hasn’t been rendered. Liz is the best. She’s so helpful. And knows exactly what needs to be
done for good content. And she’s really a great help in making
our vision into a reality. It’s really fun to watch people get in their
roles and really embody them and be excited to make something. Five, four, three…
