Spiritual Gifts Test!!

Spiritual Gifts Test!!

Hey guys! Justin here with That Christian Vlogger…
hope all is going well for you In yesterday’s video I spoke about the concept
of Spiritual gifts. The main thing that I wanted to emphasize
about spiritual gifts is that God has gifted each and every single one of us with a unique
and different set of skills. Some of these skills are the more traditional
things we think about when it comes to church like preaching or singing or leading, but
these aren’t the only types of skills that God gives. On the website that I cited, spiritualgiftstest.com
they talk about several types of categories of gifts that are out there. The list isn’t exhaustive by any means,
but it gives you a general idea of what is out there. I remember back a few years ago when I was
talking to an aunt of mine back in California. I was trying to raise money to go to the Philippines
for the first time and do a mission trip overseas and so I had asked her if she would be willing
to help. And of course, much like many of you probably
understand, I was pretty bashful of asking for money like that. However, her response really blew me away. Instead of sighing and saying, “fine I’ll
give you some money” somewhat grudgingly, she was very excited! She actually thanked me for asking her! She told me that all Christians have different
gifts from God and her gift was giving. She said that God had gifted her with the
ability to earn and manage money very well and that she knew one way for her to serve
God was to support missionaries and projects that she believed God was leading. The Bible says in Ephesians 4 that God has
given a gift to each and every believer when they come to Him. Even skills like cooking and song writing
can actually be spiritual gifts when we choose to use them for God. Paul even mentions that singleness can be
a gift of the Spirit! Obviously I didn’t get that one… The purpose of us having these spiritual gifts
is explained in 1 Peter 4:10. As each has received a gift, use it to serve
one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace… in order that in everything God may
be glorified through Jesus Christ. Our gifts exist not for some selfish purpose,
but so that we can use them to minister to others! By tapping into the gifts that God has given
us, we get to make the world a better place and show God’s love to the people around
us. This notion that only the pastor or evangelist
is involved in being used by God is just simply a myth. Ministry isn’t something that only takes
place on the weekends during the divine hour, but ministry is something that influences
our day to day life. It takes place in the way that we treat each
other and that we build each other up. And I’m sure we can all agree that this
is what the world really needs. So many people are involved with tearing each
other apart, and God desires that we use our gifts to build each other up. So what were my gifts and what did I learn
from this experience? Turns out that my three strongest gifts according
to this test were Faith, Administration, and Knowledge. I was a little bit surprised at these, but
it made sense with how my life has been unfolding recently. I told you yesterday that I thought teaching
was going to be my highest, and I did score well for that one, but these 3 were the highest. Which if I apply to how things have turned
out this last month, this totally makes sense. Quitting my job and going out into the unknown
definitely is only possible with Faith. The website said that those who have this
spiritual gift generally are the people who live in a very bold way. They are people who are willing to go out
on a limb for God and to charter unknown waters. Knowledge made sense to me as I’ve definitely
been trying to apply that skill set here on this channel as I try to share with you what
I learn every week. Administration was the spiritual gift that
stood out the most to me. The website says that the people with these
gifts generally are used by God to guide and direct groups of people towards a common goal. I’ve seen this to be true in the ministries
that I’ve participated in the past, but it’s how I apply this to my youtube ministry
that has me stumped. I’m not sure how to apply this gift of Administration
or leadership through this online ministry and I’m really excited to see how God continues
to lead me to use my gifts for him. So, when you get a chance, go take the test
and find out what spiritual gifts you have. It is a 105 question test, but the questions
are easy and there is no wrong answer. Budget maybe 20 minutes of your time to take
the test and when you’re done with it, let me know your results in the comment section
below! Do you think this test is accurate? What did you learn about yourself from this
test and where do you think God is going to lead you to use your gifts for his glory? I’m looking forward to hearing from you
guys soon! As always, I want to give a quick thank you
to all of my amazing patrons for making these videos possible. If you have the gift of giving and would like
to support this channel, you can do so by going to patreon.com/thatchristianvlogger. Until next time, I’m that Christian Vlogger,
and I want to encourage you to experience, “faith in the first person.” God bless! Fun Fact: Did you know that while dogs are
mentioned 41 times in the Bible cats are never mentioned once?

PS I am very sorry that you were jumped in Philly. I pray that your body and mind has caught up to the healing that G-d promises us. I also pray that G-d will encircle you with his protection upon your daily and future travels.

  2. Hey man, as a Christian I honestly didn't know about spiritual gifts until today at my church service. My mom explained everything but wanted to find something for some more clarity. Thanks for making this video, and I'll have to check out that test. God bless man😀

  3. Gods gift of adminstration to you is you have to remember a gift and not being a boss or becoming a boss, for example the bee hive needs all the bees but they need to make the honey too, not just work together, so you would be like the one that gets them to work toward making honey not jist buzzing around

  4. My Three were

    1. Evangelism (High)
    2. Prophecy (Average)
    3. Mercy (Average)

    1. For evangelism, God will use me to save lots of people because I currently live in a bad city and many people need to be saved.

    2. For prophecy, there are many times where I would get a dream or God would reveal to me information about someone and what they're dealing with.

    3. For mercy because I understand people pretty well, try to listen to their situations and understand them then offer scriptures that would help

  5. Thank you, excellent biblical themes… "Upon the reality of man, however, He hath focused the radiance of all of His names and attributes, and made it a mirror of His own Self. Alone of all created things man hath been singled out for so great a favor, so enduring a bounty." ~Baha’u’llah

  6. You think you can take some online test to see what spiritual gifts you have. Lol. Am I the only one that thinks this is ridiculous? Why not ask our HEAVENLY FATHER yourself what your gifts are and then wait on Him? He is the one that gives the gifts, so why take a man made test?

These are talents not spiritual gifts. Hate to be that person but the younger generation needs to know the Truth.

  8. Hey, I’m taking a class at the Samuel Elijah Prophetic college located in Philly and we learned that all the gifts of the spirit are found in 1 Corinthians 12:8-11.

  9. Have you sang with the angels? Have you seen an angel? Have you spoke in tongues of anvels? Have you healed? ben healed?. been given prophesy? Have you had an ascent to heavenly places? Have you smelled angelic presence?

  10. I don’t believe everyone has spiritual gifts or talents. Some do. Some don’t. Those who don’t just go on doing mundane daily things, like raising kids to be good people and that they are well equipped in their faith. I took the test and all my scores were LOW. And none of them interest me. And yet, raising my kids isn’t my talent either. Some women were born to be mothers. Not me. I love my kids but it is def not my strength. So no, not everyone has gifts. It’s just my job to be obedient; love God, have a relationship with him, pitch in when I can even if it isn’t “fun” or suited for me.

  11. My top three were Knowledge(High), Administration(High) and Giving(High). I wish everyone a beautiful day and night!😊

  12. Evangelism (high)
    Apostleship (high)
    Administration (high)
I think this test is high. I felt woefully inadequate answering a lot of these questions. I tried my best to be honest but these results are way off.
