Saint Paul College Commencement 2019

Saint Paul College Commencement 2019

[Pomp and circumstance] Tonight, we celebrate you, your achievements, your success. I’m excited to finally graduate from college, get my degree, and show my kids something positive that
their mom is a college graduate. My parents are pretty proud to be the first
generation of graduating. I’m feeling happy. Excited. A little nervous. I think we’ve made some great connections that we’re gonna remember and you know reconnect with, and they’re in the trade that you’re gonna work in. I have never seen a better group of instructors. Everybody is so positive. They only want
you to succeed. It’s not only the quickest but it’s the most informative that can actually teach you the most about the course that you’re trying to
take. I’m really excited and happy that I chose Saint Paul College because I
like the diversity and the small-sized classrooms. I chose Saint Paul College because it’s very accessible. It’s near my family and friends. This community is just so impactful. I’m definitely gonna miss all the people
here. It’s been a wonderful time so I’m very grateful. it’s a great school and you can start here go anywhere and you know Saint Paul College is just one of the best schools that you can go to in the Twin
Cities. I love my my classmates and I’m going to miss them very much. I graduated high school and I was so upset that I didn’t have cords, I didn’t have those
successes that other students were going through and so proud about, and
I told myself that that would change in college, and that definitely did. It’s been
an amazing experience. I got accepted to the University of Concordia. I plan to pursue my BSN in nursing at Bemidji State University Continue my education
through Metropolitan State University. So, I have a job lined up. Getting a job within the carpentry maybe the Union, hopefully. I’m going to be teaching people how to build resumes and how to do job searches so
there’ll be a new experience for me and I think that’ll really build up my
skills even more. I’ll work in the tutoring center and help other students. I’m so proud to be part of the Saint Paul College 2019 class. Thank you to my friends, family, and teachers who have inspired me and given me support throughout these years. Thank you. You may now move your tassels from the right to the left. [Cheers. Appluase.]
