Getting My Hair Dyed in Gangnam, Seoul | Vlog

Caption Powered by I picked up the camera,
and I’m vlogging again because I am going to
get my hair done. And Christine is here with me. She’s gonna help me
decide on a color because I still don’t know
what I’m gonna do today. Yeah, so we’re gonna pick
a color. You guys can help, too. Or you guys can…
they’re not gonna help. Well, they’re gonna know. – You’re gonna know, yeah.
– All right, let’s go. It’s this way.
It’s called Lumio. And I love getting my hair done
by the captain. You’re gonna have to
get your roots done, too. I don’t wanna bleach it though. Don’t bleach it. Yeah, we’ll see.
We’ll see, guys. I’m kind of nervous. – Lumio here.
– I’m nervous, too. Why? Why are you nervous? I will see transformation. You might see it later. ‘Cause
you’re gonna leave, right? – Yeah, I’m gonna leave.
– We just had lunch actually. – It was good.
– It was really good, – and the coffee was amazing.
– The coffee. Let’s go. – Here it is, y’all.
– Wow. You know, when you first enter, it looks like a regular salon, but Captain’s corner is just,
like, special. – Really? Okay, okay.
– You’ll see what I mean. So here it is, and you see
Captain’s corner right there. – He has his own corner.
– Yeah. Do you wanna get your hair done? No. I like… I like my hair. Yeah, your hair’s so long. Yeah, it’s really long. Put a little bit on your hair. – Joan with long hair.
– If I had long hair… if I had black hair. Check out this corner. – My God.
– Yes. There’s like graffiti on there. I know, and Captain is here! – Hey!
– Hi! – Hello.
– Isn’t it so cute here? It’s so cute. I kinda wanna just like steal
one of these stickers, like… – It’s so decked out. I love it.
– I love it. All right. I still don’t know
what color I’m gonna do. But we’ll see. Let me quickly take out
the earrings. My brother got me these earrings
for my birthday. – They’re cute.
– Yeah. I don’t want that to get dirty. (speaking Korean) – Don’t forget to take it.
– Oh, yeah. I know. All right. Still not sure what color. But she’s giving me some inspo. I don’t wanna do anything crazy – ’cause winter… I don’t know.
– (speaking Korean) – Yeah.
– I’m gonna go with the pink. – Yes.
– Yes? – Yeah. Pink?
– Yeah. – Yeah?
– Yeah? Yeah, yeah. Okay, I think I’m gonna go
with the pink, guys. And it’s supposed to fade
like this. So… Here we go. Are you ready? – I’m ready.
– Okay. It’s gonna be dark,
but it’s supposed to fade. Dark pink fade to light pink. Yeah, so say goodbye
to my current hair situation. But I definitely needed a change because my roots
were just getting really gross. I feel like, like, when I go to the gym
and tie my hair, it’s just… – (speaking Korean)
– Yeah, it looks so oily – when I washed it, you know.
– Yeah, yeah, yeah. Me, too. So I’m excited,
and Captain’s really good. He’s actually my favorite out of all the salons
I went to in Korea. – Really?
– Yeah. I’ve had some bad experiences
in Korea. So Captain uses
different hair dye. Over there, they use L’Oréal. – Wow.
– Yeah, right? Good job. (speaking Korean) – (speaking Korean)
– Yeah, he’s picky. (speaking Korean) – Bye.
– I’ll see you later. – Bye, bye!
– Bye! Thanks for coming with me
and helping me decide. Here we go. Because we’re not bleaching, it’s gonna take us an hour
and 30 minutes. And we are basically
halfway done. We’re just gonna wash this up,
and it’ll be done. I’m really excited to see
what this is going to look like. I hated how the roots
were looking, so I just had to come in. But yeah, I should be
washing this off very soon. And you guys will see
the transformation. It’s time to wash the hair. I just have to choose
one of these. (speaking Korean) (speaking Korean) (speaking Korean) He’s curling my hair,
but I’m loving the color. (speaking Korean) (speaking Korean) Thank you, Captain. All right, let’s go down. Just finished,
and I’m loving the new color I love my roots,
like I’ve been wanting this. It looks super even. I can’t wait to see
how it fades. But if you are interested in
getting your hair done at Lumio, I’ll… Got off at the wrong… If you’re interested at getting
your hair done at Lumio, I’ll link the information
in the description box. You have to Kakao him
and make a reservation. If you wanna get that discount and if you wanna reserve
your spot with Captain. Getting off
at the right floor this time. Right? Yep. All right, I’m gonna
head home now. I hope you guys enjoyed
this hair transformation video, and I’ll see you guys
in my next one. Bye! Caption Powered by

  14. How much did it cost? Does the discount have an expiration date? Would he be ok with someone that is not fluent in korean?

  15. Why she keeps dying her hair to odd color? No normal person would dye hair to pink, purple, bright red etc. Im guessing maybe psychologically she may have some issues or voids that need to be filled by dying hair. Seriously do not understand her obnoxious hair color choices
