Archangel: Saint Selaphiel the Prayer of God

The Archangel Saint Sela-phiel meaning the “Prayer of God” sometimes identified with Sala-thiel from the Second Book of Esdras He is one of the seven archangels in the Byzantine Catholic and Eastern Orthodox traditions Selaphiel appears in verse 31:6 of the apocryphal Jewish and Christian text The Conflict of Adam and Eve, which describes how God sends him and Suriyel
to help rescue Adam and Eve from Satan’s deception commanding Sela-phiel
“to bring them down from the top of the high mountain and to take them to the Cave of Treasures.” Some Christian traditions consider Selaphiel as the angel in Revelation 8:3-4 in the New Testament who presents the prayers of people on Earth to God in heaven: “Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand.” Selaphiel is often seen as the Patron Saint of prayer and worship for members of the Eastern Orthodox Church and some Catholic traditions. In some Orthodox traditions, he is said to help people interpret dreams, break addictions, protect children, preside over exorcisms, and rule over music in heaven. Orthodox Christians will seek his help if their prayer is suffering from distractions, inattentiveness, or coldness. In Catholic tradition, he is depicted as a thurifer. When depicted in iconography by himself or with individual characteristics, he is shown in an attitude of humble prayer,
with downcast eyes and arms crossed over his breast. He is also sometimes seen kneeling with incense in a thurifer, praying. Prayer is considered his special attribute. PLEASE HIT THAT BELL SHARE, LIKE, COMMENT, AND SUBSCRIBE

  1. What a beautiful production!
There is so much to be known regarding angels. Your insight clarifies quite a bit. Keep up the great work! It just keep getting better and better…

  2. Oh boy… Escape from the farm (Eden) and they were thrown in a dungeon (cave of treasures) couldn't have that getting out but let all the dinosaurs (serpent seed) roam free… Truly I believe that we are the rats in "The Secret of Nimh"… Also that would make Venus Freya then

  3. Something else about the whole Adam and Eve story doesn't quite ring true… As in there's a possibility that they aren't referring to two people but perhaps two races or perhaps interstellar/interdimensional travelers or groups thereof perhaps they used a type of "spacecraft"?

  4. This is a good man made story , but not biblical !! Jesus said he will send the " Holy Spirit " after crucifixion, raised from dead n ascended into heaven .
" Holy Spirit " my friends, the Holy Bible clearly said Holy Spirit .

  5. It is so sad how people are misled so easily by mumbo jumbo. Gods word the Bible only ever speaks of one archangel, and that is Michael. The title archangel means, Chief or Greatest or leader and comander of Gods Holy Angels, the name Michael means, who is like God, and it is in refererance to Gods Only begotten son Jesus Christ who will lead HIS angels to destroy Satans World. And ungodly mankind. PSLM 2:2-9,
    2 THESS 1:6-10 1 Thess 4:16, Jude 9. (THE ARCHANGEL)
The books you refer to are not part of the Bible for a reason…..they are uninspired made up Hokum !

  6. He's here now smoking pot with gods people which is all.prayers of gratitude sent along the way.being the greatest of the least instead of a beast.💪
